We write to share some upcoming events happening on our campuses. We hope they offer you an opportunity to connect with your community, reduce stress, and create spaces for conversation.
All events below are in Eastern Time, free, and open to all students unless otherwise noted.
University Life Events & Opportunities
- Canned Goods Drive for The Food Pantry at Columbia (In-Person). Help donate canned goods and non-perishable items to The Food Pantry at Columbia. See donation suggestions here. Questions? Contact [email protected].
- Morningside from May 1st to May 13th drop off within JJ's Place, Ruggles, Hogan, 47 Claremont Ave, Watt and Woodbridge.
- CUIMC from May 13 - 31 drop off within Tower 1 and Tower 2.
- Campus Conversations (In-Person). We’re hosting student-led Campus Conversations throughout April. Check out upcoming conversations.
- Color & Chat about the University Life Ambassador Program (In-Person). Interested in becoming a University Life Ambassador? Join us for a casual afternoon of coloring, snacks, and a chance to ask any questions about the ambassador program. Monday, April 29, 12 - 1 p.m. Register here.
- Study Days (In-Person). Need space to study this finals season? Religious Life is opening Earl Hall Auditorium for quiet study. Tea and snacks will be available. Tuesday, April 30 through Thursday, May 9; hours vary. Learn more.
- Baccalaureate Service (In-Person). Religious Life invites graduating seniors to participate in this multi-faith ceremony. Service highlights include musical performances, reflections, and readings by students from diverse faith traditions, and a custom pin for all graduates who attend. This event is for undergraduate students and their guests. Sunday, May 12, 10 - 11:15 AM. Learn more and register here
- Yoga Class (In-Person). Take a break and relax at this yoga class in Earl Hall, hosted by Religious Life. Please bring your own mat and arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in and set up. Thursday, April 25, 7 - 8 p.m. Learn more.
- Sacred Music Concerts (In-Person). Religious Life is hosting sacred music concerts. Various Times. Learn more.

- Wear Denim and Connect with SVR (Hybrid). Join Columbia Health Sexual Violence Response for Denim Day. Make a statement with your denim, and tell our community that there is no excuse for sexual assault or rape, especially not what a survivor was wearing. Wednesday, April 24. Various Times. - Alumni Rising: Celebrating 2024 Graduates (In-Person). Celebrate your achievements with the Asian Columbia Alumni Association, Black Alumni Council, and Latino Alumni Association of Columbia University! This event is open only to the Class of 2024. Thursday, April 25, 6 - 8 p.m. Register here.
