Get Involved in the Columbia Community From Wherever You Are!

September 22, 2020

Dear Students,

We hope you’ve had a productive and healthy start to the first weeks of the semester and have taken the time to pause, reflect and celebrate all that you have done so far. We also invite you to get more involved from wherever you are in the world in important University initiatives on sexual respect, wellness, inclusion and belonging, and helping to Keep Our Community Healthy — read this inspiring new blog from one of your peers to learn how he’s adapting to studying in this new environment.

These opportunities are open to all Columbia students everywhere, and we encourage everyone to participate:

In addition, the Columbia Community Citizenship Initiative launches on September 29. Students who are new to their Columbia schools — and any others who wish to participate — will learn more about the core values of our community, particularly sexual respect and inclusion and belonging for all. You’ll receive more information about the Initiative next week, but until then, here are ways that you can be involved in strengthening Columbia’s commitment to an equitable and inclusive campus culture:

As always, please visit University Life’s website for a full list of upcoming events — we update them regularly — and send your ideas and suggestions to [email protected]. Finally, don't forget to follow us on InstagramTwitter and Facebook
