DACA Update: Window to Apply for Renewals

On January 13, 2018 the Department of Homeland Security announced it will resume the application renewal process for DACA students. In light of this announcement and the rapid pace of DACA developments, we encourage students with DACA to apply for renewal as soon as possible.

Columbia Joins Friend of the Court Brief on International Travel Ban

Columbia is among 31 colleges and universities arguing in a friend of the court brief that international students, faculty and staff are vital to their institutions and the world, and that Presidential Proclamation No. 9645 -- the third presidential order banning nationals of Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. -- contradicts the freedom of religion and equality embodied in the First and Fourteenth Amendments.
